A very fine looking card that has been unfortunately cut off-center. It holds characteristics of a card a full 2-3 grades higher!

Larry Csonka had several defining moments early in his professional football career that helped establish him as a prominent player. First and foremost, Csonka played a pivotal role in the Miami Dolphins' success during the early 1970s. He helped lead the team to back-to-back Super Bowl victories in Super Bowl VII (1973) and Super Bowl VIII (1974). In Super Bowl VII, Csonka had a standout performance that showcased his abilities on the biggest stage. He rushed for 112 yards on 15 carries, including a crucial 49-yard run. The Dolphins went on to win the game, completing a perfect season with a 17-0 record, and Csonka's performance played a significant role in the victory. He alo achieved the milestone of rushing for over 1,000 yards in three consecutive seasons from 1971 to 1973. This showcased his consistency and established him as one of the premier running backs in the league during that era. He was selected to the Pro Bowl five times during his career and earned the MVP of the 1973 Pro Bowl.
